Program Usage
- Clicking on the minimize button or the window's "X" button accomplishes the same action: minimize the window and remove it from the task bar. The program will still be shown in the system tray and will download music in the background.
- To exit the program, select either the "Exit Program" button or systray menu item.
- The program is meant to operate in the background most of the time. Automatic refreshes of all music blogs are scheduled as shown in the status bar item, bottom right.
- When installed, the program will place a shortcut in the Windows Start Menu, Programs->Startup directory. To stop the program from loading when Windows boots, delete this shortcut from the Startup directory.
- The "Last Checked" column indicates when the feed was last checked by Music Buddy. The "Last Updated" column shows the time that the blog was most-recently updated (according to the feed server).
Preferences
The preferences window allows you to specify:
- The Download Directory that Music Buddy will download any new MP3s to.
- Whether you would like Music Buddy to display an information bubble from the system tray icon (which contains refresh status and the names of completed MP3 downloads).
